Greetings, I purchased SpectraLayers elements just a few moments ago. Using Logic Pro, I exported a track in wav. format. When importing the wav. file into SpectralLayers, I received the error message, "Could not read the file (stage 3 state 0 error 1). Can you please urgently assist? I already tried to re-intall spectrallayers with no effect. Previous response in a different thread from steinberg did not show the issue as being resolved.
macOS Big Sur 11.3
MacBook Air M1,
Running Logic in Rosetta
Can you upload your wav file somewhere to see if I can repro here ?
If you prefer you can PM me, or email me to contact [at] divideframe (dot) com
Hello Robin,
I responded to: robin_lobel@divideframe.com
I hope that was the correct address.
Regards,
@bcummings3 can you open the Terminal application, and type:
/Applications/SpectraLayers\ 11.app/Contents/MacOS/SpectraLayers -debug
This will launch SpectraLayers, then try to open your file from Logic Pro, and close SpectraLayers.
Then please copy the content of the Terminal here.
The forum would not allow me to paste the terminal data in an email. Apparently, it thinks there is a link in the data. I sent the data to contact @ divideframe.
Thanks, it seems to be because of a component requiring macOS 12.
You can either upgrade to macOS 12 (or higher), or wait for patch 3 which will fix this, but there’s no schedule for patch 3 yet.
FYI, Issue appears to have resolved after update to Sedona and iLok rescan.
Thank you.
