Fill Color for Text Frames?

Hi,

Maybe I’m blind, but is there a way I could completely erase the background behind a text frame while preserving text visibility? Referencing the picture attached, I want it to just be a white block I can put text into, no music staves in the way.

If there is no embedded functionality here you might find success in placing a picture frame over that section and loading a white rectangle. Then you could possibly add your text frame over that.

You might find that it helps to construct the text frame on another area of the score and then move it into position using the alt/arrows approach. I have always found selecting specific frames of differing types quite fiddly when the frames overlap.

As yet there is no way to specify a background colour for a text frame. It’s certainly something we may add in a future version.
