When I’m metering a scratch track in playback, I’m looking for a quick way to analyze the audio event for its peak volume. I have posted about this a decade ago and never received any answers, and saw what seemed like overly complicated ways to do it in responses to other posts. Did Cubase 12 add this functionality? Seems so odd to me this isn’t in every DAW or every metering plug-in.
I don’t understand. If you want to analyze clip level in an event while playing back does your meter not show clip level by default? Check the manual global metering section.
Audio → Statistics?
