In engraving options I don’t see an option for default guitar fingering right of note (in order to avoid clutter with accidentals). I have to do this constantly manually which is rather cumbersome. Is there a possibility to include this in a nearby update?
Or am I missing something?
I’m afraid there is indeed no way to tell Dorico that fingerings in the staff should be positioned on the right of notes by default. This isn’t something that we’ve seen done as a matter of course in published music – are there particular publishers, or perhaps composers (other than your good self, of course!) who always default things this way?
Thanks for your answer Daniel. No, it is just me because, as I explained, the fingering often clutters with the accidentals and above the staff with the chord symbols.
