Fire samples in order

Hello Cubase users. I heard somewhere that there is a function in Cubase to fire multiple samples of the same kind in sequence. So if I want a kick drum sound, but I don’t want them all to sound exactly the same, I would make several kd samples and Cubase would then play them randomly (or in order) every time the kd is triggered.
I heard that this option exists, but I can’t remember where, and I can’t find any references to it in the User Guide. Can anyone point me to where I can get more info, maybe a video tutorial.

The function is not located in Cubase itself, Groove agent can do this for you.
But I’m not sure if the GA SE version will do it.
If it’s possible, it’s quite a bit of work to set this up.

And here’s a link.

Hi,

I wouldn’t expect this in the SE edition.

Many thanks to both of you.
Time I looked into Groove Agent.

Its called “Round Robin” to avoid so called machine gun effect, and its possible in Groove Agent SE. Just load those several kick variations in one pad (on screenshot i loaded 3 claps)
One of these 3 you need.
