Currently running an RME fireface 800 on a Macbook pro thru the FW800 port…
Is it possible to run 2 of them on the one laptop ?
I assume you’d have to use 1 x 800 FW & 1 x 400 FW… ???
No, you can daisy chain them using the other FW800 connector on the first Fireface.
Not that I’ve actually tried it, mind…
I believe up to 3 units can be chained using FW800.
