This is a first attempt using Cantai 3.0’s ottetto voices in an a cappella setting of text from Psalm 13 I composed. Much improvement in the scooping with large intervals. I did have to write sal-vay-tion and mer-see for correct (er) pronunciation and it is a bit time consuming to balance the voices as different ones seem to have slightly different recorded levels. I’d still like a true bass voice. Anyway…

Here is a setting of text from Psalm 5. I used the Male/Female Choral voices with each spaced in VSL’s Synchron Stage Reverb and GPO5 SAM Trumpet solo and Hauptwerk All Stops. I had to fudge a few words; the ottetto voices are better at diction. I had to write har-ken and med-i-tay-tion to get close to what it should be, but I’m pleased with this result. Although I must say it took a looooong time to render.
