First page layout as default

Is there any way to turn first page layout to default? I don’t need specific first page layout on the first page, but it behaves differently to the other pages. I think this is a very common and dull question but I can’t crack it even after reading and watching loads of tutorials:(

Edit: I’m not sure I have understood your question, Anyway try this and see if that is what you are looking for.

In layout options>Page Setup>Flows, choose “Never” in Use First page template.
