What exactly I need to ask the pic editor?
I have a commercial I need to make 3 different versions - long, short and shorter.

CMX 3600 EDL’s of the other verisons.
You then load the original EDL and the edit EDL into the application, which is going to allow you to commit the changes to your project.
It’s scary, and there are a lot of things that can go wrong, especially when you didn’t set up workflow tests at the start of the project. But normally, all should be fine in the end.

Yes, its risk - but this is the project (small and fast) to check this option on. I wouldnt dare to start with something bigger.
