Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing a strange issue with Dorico Pro 6 and my Fishman TriplePlay.
My setup
- Windows PC
- Dorico Pro 6 (latest version)
- Fishman TriplePlay wireless MIDI guitar
The TriplePlay works correctly:
- It is recognized by Windows.
- It works perfectly in REAPER and other MIDI applications.
- The MIDI activity indicator in Dorico responds when I play the guitar.
I also generated a Dorico Diagnostics report. The log clearly shows that Dorico is receiving MIDI note events (MIDIPitches), so MIDI input is definitely reaching the application.
The problem
When I enter Note Input mode and play the guitar, no notes are inserted into the score.
What I have already tried
- Reinstalled Dorico completely.
- Restarted Windows.
- Created a brand-new empty project.
- Restarted the audio engine.
- Connected the TriplePlay before launching Dorico.
- Verified that MIDI data is reaching Dorico (confirmed by the diagnostics).
Since the diagnostics show that Dorico receives the MIDI notes, I’m wondering whether there is a setting that prevents MIDI note entry into the score.
Has anyone experienced this with Fishman TriplePlay?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
