Fix for MIDI feedback loop when using UR-44?

I am experiencing a MIDI feedback loop (solid green light) using an older MIDI keyboard connected to the MIDI IN of my UR-44 on a Windows computer. This keeps me from being able to use the keyboard to input notes (step-wise or real-time).

Anyone know how to configure around this issue?

It could be active sensing data or something similar flooding Dorico. Try going to the Play page of Preferences and activating Filter out MIDI controllers.
