Fix import midi please!

I know there’ll be a ton of “I was expecting this…” tomorrow but really one thing that does bug me is importing MIDI files. Try to drag from finder to a specific track and it never lands there but instead creates a brand new midi track at the very bottom of the project page…and using the file/import command is even worse, it drops it at the very start of the project, on a new track.

Check your MIDI import options - especially “Auto Dissolve Format 0” and Destination. You should then be able to drag ‘n’ drop directly on the track.

Drag’n’drop will work with Nuendo 14 but… currently the imported midi will end up one midi track below the one that you target.
Seems to be an unfortunate bug. Edit: If the option “Auto Dissolve Format 0” from above screenshot is deactivated, the parts will land on the desired track.

Nope, even with these settings, and a re-start of N14, the file still creates a new track at the bottom of the list…

I’m using N12 and it works as expected there.
