This is a very annoying problem which must be fixed or at least explained in the manual.
When I re-open a project with one or more effects on the stereo out, I often get midi delay.
Only by luck, I came across an old post explaining that this was related to using effects on the stereo out.
This must be fixed Steinberg.
There is nothing be “fixed”… if you use an effect with latency on the stereo out, then you get latency. Use Constrain Delay Compensation in that case.
What you are saying is not correct.
I do not have any delay when I am using the same effect on the stereo out when I am working on a project.
The problem only occurs when I re-open the exact same project the day after.
This is not normal and should be fixed.
