Dear all,
I am trying to create a one page part which is a response piece to Berio’s Sequenza VIIB.
Berio has a one-page score which has thirteen systems all filled with the same sequence of 13 time durations (3”,2.7”,2”,2”…etc).
I have reached a copy-paste based version of the whole page filled like I would like to. Most of the content is just placeholders now. (see att.)
What I am looking for here is a way to not have each bar change size when I start replacing the placeholder material, which does seem unavoidable for now.
Is there a way to really lock the barline positions? or perhaps a good way to get it right across all systems as a final step to notation. If not, then I have almost found a workaround, but then would have the question how to make an accidental invisible, while still occupying the space it does naturally.
