FIXED: Severe playback issue with barely any plugins added

Hi All

Since updating to Cubase 10 I’m having severe issues with the audio playback as soon as I start loading up any plugins - basically sounding like it’s playing at a slower speed, being badly time-stretched. Here’s a recent project I did in 9.5, playing back fine:

Anyone any ideas what’s up? Plugins being used are mostly Waves CLA Mix Hub, Izotope Alloy 2, plus a couple others.

Specs as follows:

Mac Mini running OS X 10.11.6
2.3 GHz i5 / 16 GB RAM
Focusrite Saffire PRO 26

OK, after much fiddling around with settings etc, it seems it was the “ASIO-GUARD” - it was deactivated, and once I activated it, everything runs fine again!
