Fixing drum parts from imported XML

Hello,

I still struggle with voices, in drum parts. I right click on a note (that I want to move to the other voice) → Voices → Change Voice → … I got 2 voices from the XML Import, so I should bre able to move notes from one voie to the other ?

And I havetrouble selectiing the note from the voice, it selects everything

Can you direct me to a good tutorial on this subject ?

For percussion, right-click Percussion->Change voice.

Also check this in Setup mode.

Then in the editor you can set the voice for each drum.

Also Library->Notation Options->Percussion

Now stuck with a rest

You can do Edit->Remove rest. And again, check Library->Notation Options->Percussion and/or the percussion editor in Setup mode.

Something as simple as this, it’s quicker to re-write than fixing it, but I want to understand. In Sibelius each voice had its color, it was easy to move notes and rest from one voice to another. Here everything is orange. I don’t know which is which

You can turn on voice colors.
