I’m aware that the Dorico team is/was working on the implementation of group names in the score, and it certainly is a hot topic right now with COVID making bands far more sparse. In the meantime, though, I will be working on several large flex band arrangements in these next upcoming weeks that will be using such an architecture and I’m looking for the best, most efficient way to currently incorporate this kind of setup, with hopefully a minimal amount of fiddling as the piece is completed.

Ideally, these brackets and group names would continue on subsequent pages of the score with the shortened instrument names, as seen in the first two pictures.
