Flex Loop?

I will give the following example:
I’m in measure 0024.3.2 (Part A = 0022.1.1) and I want to advance to (Part B = 0054.1.1).
In my opinion, the Flex Loop should wait until the end of measure 0022 and then advance to Part B = 0054.1.1. Do you agree with me?
Either I’m making a mistake, or the Flex Loop counts from the moment I advance, exactly where the play cursor is and not calculating the beginning of the measure where the play cursor passed, causing the remaining playback to be out of step.
In my opinion, Flex Loop calculates it from the beginning of the measure, even if I decide to advance to the next Song Part with only a few ticks left, which it doesn’t. Can anyone clarify this for me please? Thanks!

hmm… here looks like working. Can you do some sceen rec?

Is this what you see?

Flex Loop count from my Keyboard Hit and no from Measure Start.

Hmmmm. which VL version are’u using? If not updated a while:
vstlive.net for the yesterdays v2.1.31 build first

BTW the RAVEN screen is cool!

Exactly! 2.1.31.
I hope this update flex loop function.

Hi! I’m sorry, I feel confused. Does 2.1.31 works better or the same problem? BTW… developers are happy to get an “example” project archive file that shows the problem then they can work on it to resolve. So if you think, Export the problematic song or create an example file that will reproduce your problem and upload to somewhere

Same problem. Thank you for your attention.

See my demo Video please.

There is a minimum time that needs to be left before a switch (transport jump) can take place. This is currently set to 0.5 seconds (1 beat at bpm 120).

See, VST Live is different from other products in that it does not just play prefetched loop content; it should locate (seek) all tracks in time, which takes practically almost no time for MIDI, and DMX (data already in memory), is pretty quick with audio, depending on drive capabilities etc, but may take significant time for video, Modules, or other media.

So, you need to post your jump request no later than half a second before the end of the snap range (bar, in your case).

Thank you very much for the answer!
I play in a band where the singer sometimes returns to an unexpected part of the song and I have to fast forward or rewind the part sung almost over the next beat. I’m used to doing this on Ableton Live. Sorry for insisting on this matter. But, I thought it was easy. it is not a weakness of VST Live. I believe it’s another crazy thing from our singer! and sorry for my poor english. It can sometimes feel like I’m being rude without knowing how to express myself. thanks! VST Live is incredible!

Don’t worry, you don’t sound rude at all.
