Flexloop with different signature causes metronome bug

We’ve got a song in 4/4 with an intro that we loop live until everyone’s ready. This loop is 5 beats long instead of 4. When this is looped in VSTLive, the metronome (sound) keeps counting 4 beats causing it to become off-beat. If I change the signature to 5/4 for just this loop, it works for about 2 measures and then it starts counting 4 beats per bar again. Note that it’s just the metronome audio that seems to be bugged.

will check!

One more question: how do you loop, using cycle (left/right locator), or FlexLoops?

Maybe my issue is related: when looping a part with flexloops and adding tempo change at beginning and within that part, the metronome AUDIO only adjusts tempo correctly during first run but during repetitions of the loop it follows the track as if there was no looping (while metronome VIEW does adjust in accordance with looping). Simple sample project for demonstration attached (version: 2.1.21.263).

Tempo changes are missing from your project, to include project assets, you need to use “Save Archive”.
That’s just for your information though, no need to post another project; added a tempo change myself and can reproduce it, will fix, thanks for reporting!

@musicullum Apologies for the late reply. I’m using Flexloops.

@joeyportnoy It might be related, but I’m also having the metronome sound issue without signature changes.

This issue has been fixed as of release 2.1.31.
