Is there a way to set the scale used to generate the flexphrase melodies ? Looks like it follow no scale, so depending on the song you are using it, will sound odd. I’d like to set the scale to avoid notes out of key.

I don’t think there is any key scale functionality in Flexphrases (that would be a great to have, maybe something to suggest as a future enhancement). You could try recording single notes into the Trigger Pads. If you have a Flexphrase that’s setup to play in major/minor/or modal intervals programming different single notes into Pads will allow you to trigger root note changes by tapping the Pads. You can set the Trigger Pads to play different scale chords as well.
