I’ve set up a “bass free play” mode in Halion 7 using FlexPhraser, where pressing a chord triggers the chord playback while the bass plays a single note. This creates a great effect, but I’ve noticed an issue with how the bass note is selected.
For example, when playing a G major chord (G-B-D) within a D major scale, I sometimes press the notes D, G, and B together. However, instead of selecting G as the bass note, Halion plays D, which isn’t always the intended result. It seems like FlexPhraser automatically picks the lowest note instead of the actual root of the chord.
Is there a way to configure FlexPhraser to always assign the bass note based on the detected root of the chord rather than just the lowest played note? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
