Flipping text from above to below staff and having it be global for all parts

When I’m working on the full score on certain staves I may put text instructions or notes. A lot of the time I want it below the score, so I (F)lip it. But the problem is that 85% of the time, it doesn’t carry to the actual part. The weird thing is that randomly it will work once in a while so I’m not sure if it’s a bug that it doesn’t flip it in the part. For example if I a score and on a certain stave I have 5 or 6 text instructions that I’ve flipped, when I go to the part, most of them haven’t flipped but there might be one that did.

Is there any way to flip a text instruction so that it actually carries to the part?

Have you checked that the Properties Scope is set to Global before doing it?

If you didn’t have it set to Global, you can always propagate the properties of the text items you’ve already flipped:

Paragraph styles contain also the placement information, so a – property independent – alternative is to create and assign a paragraph style which places the text below the staff.
