Floating menu bar

Is there a way to get rid of the floating menu bar in Cubase 9. Just looks weird on Windows and wastes space on my second monitor.

Hi,

I’m sorry, this is not possible. This feature was introduced with Cubase 8 (or 8.5?) to be able to free all windows. Prior, some of the window were locked in the Project window. This is a bug benefit.

Why does it waste the space? It’s the same, like if it would be snapped to any window.

The problem arises when using multiple monitors. So if menu bar is set to project windows and KeyEditor is opened on the second monitor it won’t have it’s own menu bar :frowning:

Yes, there is only one menu bar. But there was one menu bar in previous Cubase versions too.
