Flow Frame in Parts/Flow Philosophy

Hi Folks,

I am a Jazz musician, and primarily write lead sheets. I don’t have much need for Flows in general, but they are helpful when I’m writing larger projects. Is there any way to default to NOT showing a flow frame in my instrument parts? I know I can manually remove this frame, but when working with multi-part, single-flow projects that can be very tedious. I’ve already forgotten to remove the frame in one of my parts, and ended up bringing in a less-than-professional chart.

It doesn’t make sense to me to specify “Flow #1” when there’s only one flow in the project. This mentality makes setting up single-flow projects a little more tedious than it needs to be, in my opinion.

Yup, change this layout option, save as default, and never think about it again :slight_smile:

I’d always recommend hiding flow headings this way, as deleting them manually from pages results in page overrides.
