Flow- full score, part layout

1.I have a project with a full score that contains four flows.

If I include all four flows in a part layout and edit that part, does the number of flows included in the Full Score layout have any effect on editing the part?

Or is part editing affected only by the flows that are included in that specific part layout?

In other words, can I include any combination of flows in the Full Score layout without affecting the part layout, or does the Full Score layout’s flow selection have any influence on the part layout?

  1. Those things are independent. That’s the beauty of it. The only flows edited in a part are those included in the part.
  2. Any layout opened will take some calculation time to your processor. If you need to only have one layout opened and keep as many ressources as possible, you should save and close with the one layout you want to work on, and reopen the file (and of course do not display any other layout).

Short answer: yes, everything you want is possible. In Setup Mode, you can freely add or remove flows to any layout, without affecting other layouts.
