Hello, the flow heading seems to be stuck behind the staves, as seen in this image. Please advise. Thank you.
Hi @iforgottosave It would be better if you could share your Dorico file.
But see if you have overrides on the page (in Engrave Mode, Pages on the upper right the little red triangle), and if yes, remove them (with right click on the page icon)
I have no overrides active for that.
The problem is most obvious in the Soprano and Tenor parts.
Also, how would one move two bars onto one page (like the two bars on pg. 3 of the Soprano part being moved onto pg. 2)?
Here’s the file:
(too big for Forums)
@iforgottosave The frame is overfull… for example Tenor, Page 4 is 106,2%
Try with a frame break in the pages with issue.
I do not find the problem with the flow heading when I open your file so it’s something unique on your computer. Perhaps restart your computer?
Someone with more expertise will hopefully be able to help you.
As to moving the two bars from p3 to p2, in Engrave mode select the first note in the last system of p2 and a note in the second bar of the two bars on p3 and make into a system. I’d then recommend moving at least one measure of the last system (p2) to the previous system so you’re not overfilling.
Here’s the file with this edit.
Requiem LOTG Choir.dorico (1.9 MB)
Note that I don’t have your fonts so this copy replaced them.
