Flow numbering - iPad version - is correct!

[edit]
I made a mistake, everything is correct and working the same manner - both between desktop version of Dorico.
I must have mixed it up with the page numbering actually… sorry
[end edit]

I see a difference between the desktop and the iOS version when it comes to numbering flows:
One typical scenario: I write a song, thats flow 1. I duplicate the flow twice, that is flow 2 and flow 3 (in these flows I transpose the song for my singer’s accompanist, so he can use whatever key is best on the day…).
Flow 1 - C Major
Flow 2 - B Major
Flow 3 - Bb Major

The title is “12 Lieder”
The song is called “Lied”

  1. in the desktop version:
    a) I select the Full Score layout and only select Flow 1 (deselect flows 2 and 3).
I make an export to pdf.
Now I have a pdf file of the song in C Major, “12 Lieder - 1. Lied”
“1. Lied” is the flow header.
    b) In the Full Score layout I now select Flow 2 only.
I make an export to pdf.
Now I have a pdf file of the song in B Major, “12 Lieder - 1. Lied”
“1. Lied” is the flow header.
This is, because it is the only flow in this layout. So in my eyes correct.
  2. the iOS version behaves differently:
If I select flow 2 only in my Full Score layout, then export to PDF, the flow header of this (only) flow shows “2. Lied”
So I think the iOS version uses a different route for the pdf export, as it has no dedicated Print Mode.
Still, if the flow numbering would work as in the desktop version, it would eliminate confusion…

Especially as one can’t edit Flow Headers in Engrave Mode…

What do you mean?
That you cannot edit the content?

Michele,
I meant editing a Flow Header Template.
Yes one can poke around in the Tokens in Write Mode, but that’s not recommended…

Oh right, I had missed that Page and Header templates are not there on the iPad.
