Hello everyone
I’m working on a piece with numbered sections and alternative passages. I have named my flows this way (the number and title are written in the flow title in setup mode)
1 - title
2 - title
2bis - title
3 - title
Etc
In the master pages I’ve deleted the flow number token, leaving just the flow title token, but when showing it in the score dorico automatically hides the numbers in the titles, leaving only the “2bis”, I imagine because it doesn’t recognize it as a proper number.
I’ve searched in the layout and engraving options (and this forum and facebook group) without success…
Any ideas?
Welcome to the forum @Lucas.Peres
Can you screenshot your Page Template and Project Info dialog? Or better still, upload the blank project?
Hello Lucas,
welcome to the Dorico forum.
If I understood you correctly, you want to use these as Flow Headings. So if you went to Engrave Mode and edited the Default Flow Heading (not the Page Template itself), you did the right thing.
If you have added a dot and a space after the number (like 1. title, 2. title, 2. bis title) there will be something to be aware of, have a look at this thread please: Markdown formatting vs. tokens beginning with numbers
Thank you both for your replies. The markdown discussion was exactly what I was missing.
For info, Daniel’s method works like a charm:
In project info, the flow’s title must have a back slash in order to display the number in the title, such as
1. Title
Happy engraving!
