For me, one of the great features of Dorico is (are?) Flows. Apart from being able to separate different parts of the same piece, they’re invaluable for grouping collections of different pieces, e.g. different songs from folk song collectors’ notebooks.
I remember seeing a similar (though less powerful) feature in Digital Performer, but nothing else like it - has anyone else?
Actually DP’s ‘Chunks’ are very powerful, as they can each have their own tempo etc and be positioned to start anywhere with relation to each other. Daniel has hinted to a similar functionality with independent tempi for Dorico.
