I know this has been requested a billion times and IGNORED a trillion times but please Steinberg, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS RIGHTEOUS IN THE DAW MARKET, implement a FOLD type option within the piano roll editor! Just from a pure practical standpoint it would make editing within the piano roll a gazillion times more efficient and easier. I’m not sure why you and other DAW makers won’t concede that Ableton got this right and you don’t even have to make it exactly the same… I’m sure you geniuses up there in the labs at Steinberg can come up with something equally if not overall better than what Ableton has. You guys have done quite a bit right with regards to MIDI editing and are almost unrivaled in that department but there are plenty of things you can do better and a Fold option for the piano roll would be a great start in the right direction…
