In N15 tracks in collapsed folders are no longer visible in the mixer.
Can anyone please confirm this behaviour? is there a setting somewhere?

Confirmed. However, AFAICT the N14 behaviour was erroneous and N15 corrects the problem.
For regular Folder tracks, the collapsed state of Folder tracks now follows in the Mix Console if you enable âSync Project and Mix Consoleâ and then close the Folder track in the Project window before opening the Mix Console.
Also showing or NOT showing the channels contained within regular folders now functions as expected when clicking on the respective folders in the left panel under the Visibility tab.
Seems logical, If you close a folder it closes, regardless of how your viewing it.
Works like this in Ableton, Bitwig etcâŚ
The whole point in a folder is that you can close it so its contents dont get in the way.
Thatâs not the point. The OP is flagging a difference between 14 and 15. There is a difference. V15 has corrected an anomaly present in v14.
Of course, but youâre actually missing the point.
This would be great if the folder would show in the mixer too. As it is now in N15 we will have to have the visibility tab open all the time to make tracks visible again. I donât think this is great workflow?
If you mean a regular folder, it does show in the mixer in the left hand panel under the Visibility tab. You now seem to be making a feature request to have regular folder tracks show in the Mixer channels??
Maybe⌠but depends on your precise workflow. Are you continually showing / hiding regular Folder contents in the Mix Console? If so how did you deal with this in v14? In theory, in v14 you would still need to have the Visibility tab open in order to show or NOT show the channels contained within regular Folder tracks - however, showing or NOT showing the channels by clicking on the folder under the Visibility tab didnât actually function in v14!
In v15, just switch off âSync Project and Mix Consoleâ and manage tracks in the Project, or Channels in the Mix Console, independently.
Sure I can somehow adjust to it. Still preferred the N14 behaviour and was somehow confused what´s going on.
And yes, in my opinion it would be nice to have an option to show regular folders in the mixer with the same functionality we have with the group-folder now, as we can also see folders in the arrange-window with their content when they are collapsed.
Also, in v14 if you attempt to NOT show the channels contained within a regular folder using the left panel under the Visibility tab, it does not actually function at all (AFAIK). In v15 it now functions as expected.
Yes, I can understand that request.
I feel you on this. You might want to submit this as a feature request to have it added as an option for users who prefer to work this way.
Doesnât it work that way in Cubase 15?
There already is an existing feature request:
The mixer in the Lower Zone shows a different behaviour than the mixer in the Mixer Window when it comes to regular folders:
The mixer in the mixer zone can still display all tracks in the folder even though the folder might not be unfolded in the Project Window (given both windows are not synchronized).
The Lower Zone mixer will hide all tracks of a regular folder regardless of synchronization settings. The only way to display them autonomously is by moving folders to the left/right zone via visibility agent > zones. However, this comes at a price: you will not be able to horizontally scroll the left/right zone in the Lower Zone Mixer.
Workspaces can be a possible workaround combining Mixer Window and Project Window.
