new folder groups: AMAZING idea, but how to edit the groups? why not the same as old groups, but with the added routing?
I only see a thin line, the automation line, no actualy folders drawn in the track.
I cant edit the actual folder track like this?
Any advice? what am i missing? or is it more for the mixer than the project window?
Hi,
You can switch between showing automation and the old folder event view by right clicking and selecting the desired view. There’s also a setting that sets the default view preference. Attaching screenshots below

when i render a track inc group fx but leave it in the folder, it doesnt solo when solo’ing the folder
this makes sense, since its not in the group routing anymore
i would like to have the old solo behaviour of folders, regarding if they go through the group audio bus or not
but i can see this gets confusing

Working as expected on my side. The output of the track with rendered part is also pointing towards the original parent Folder(with Group Channel). Can you share the steps you are taking?
i rendered inc the group fx, so the routing broke
since the output goes to Stereo Out now, its also outside the group Folder’s audio path.
so you get the same behaviour as solo-ing a normal group
Hmm, this is weird, it’s working fine on my end. Attaching a screen grab for your reference.
Folder G1 has an effect and the render is set to Complete Path which will account for the effect on the Folder G1 as well. The rendered audio is rendered and routed correctly. Now the audio has effect printed on it and it is still affected by the FX on the Folder group as well, all of which are expected behaviour. Are these the steps you are doing as well?
