Folder Groups - Record Enable/Input Monitor, Single click

Hi everyone,

Great update, Nuendo 15!

My request though, is to have a Modifier Key, that allows a single-click, to turn off any record enabled or input monitored tracks.

The new Folder Groups are great, but having a function such as what I am suggesting would enable quicker user interaction, i.e., single clicking vs. double clicking.

Also, logically speaking, input monitor buttons should come first on all tracks for consistency, in terms of what an engineer would actually do, that is monitor the input signal of a track before setting record enable, for specific tracks.

You can put the Monitor even before the name of the track if you wish. Just right click on the Track, and go to Track Control Settings.

Some buttons also let you choose the size, the little number on the right hand side. You can customize how and in what order you see the displayed buttons, and in all Track types.

I can only ask, does preference removal, destroy those settings?

If you mean overall preferences for Nuendo, I don’t know because I’ve never tried.

But if you mean the Preferences preset in the Track Control Settings, then the answer is yes. It will then default to Default.

I mean, if you delete preferences, do the buttons revert back to their default order.
