Folder With Group Tracks : Issues when importing from other projects

When Folder Group tracks are imported from existing projects, they don’t follow Sync Channel Selection in Export Audio Mixdown.

Steps to reproduce :

  1. Make an empty project.
  2. Import some Folder Group Track(s) from an existing project.
  3. Select the newly imported Folder Group Tracks and open Export Audio Mixdown
  4. Make sure Sync Selection to Channel/Track Selection is enabled.

Expected Result
Selected Folder Group Tracks show up in the Channel Selection area.

Actual Result
Selected Folder Group Tracks do not get populated in the Channel Selection area

Workaround/ Observations

  1. Once we disable and then re-enable Group channel capabilities of the imported tracks, the functionality seems to work as expected as demonstrated in the videos.

  2. When this issue is happening, the channel selections in the project window and mix console also seem to be not in sync. Please refer video 2 (This gets resolved using the disable-enable workaround)

  3. The same issue happens when importing Folder Group tracks from Track Archives as well.

  4. This issue only happens with imported Folder Group Tracks. Folder Group Tracks made within the project work as expected.
