Hi everyone. Newish user trying to get to grips with Cubase coming from REAPER and Logic. The chord track seems to be amazing and very useful. I’m trying to figure out if it can do this one thing but despite googling I cannot find any info.
I want to conform one midi part (clip), not a whole track, to the chord track. Is there a way to do this? Tried setting other parts to independent but it seems to not work and when I select Follow Chord Track it changes everything on the track. Basically I want to duplicate a part and make it transpose to whatever is on the chord track without having to manually move events in the key editor.
Or am I approaching this from the wrong way? I realize you can use to chord functions in the inspector when selecting a bunch of events/notes as well. Is this the preferred way?
