Scrolling the screen in the key editor disable the follow playhead (when it’s enabled, of course). It’s very annoying. Is it possible to avoid this behaviour?
Hi Ghillo,
This is something that has always happened in Cubasis from as far back as I can remember, I agree this should permanently remain active when you select the Follow Playhead tab, I don’t think there has ever been a time when I have not wanted the Follow Playhead enabled, perhaps this issue can be suggested for a future update ![]()

I think this happens mainly because it would quickly get pretty frustrating to edit midi notes during playback if the screen scrolled away…
…I always keep playhead follow disabled when editing midi…
But while editing MIDI notes I very often need to move the screen forward/backward or up/down, and then to start playing, let the music play for some time, change zoom level, go back to a different place and so on…and always wanting the playhead follow the music. But the moment I move/scroll the screen, follow playhead gets disabled.
That’s why I suggest that the Follow Playhead tab be either locked in the enabled or disable mode, that would suit all users, it would suit me, I would definitely like to have this option.

Totally agree, it should always stay locked without exceptions. This automatic disabling may fit some minor type of workflow, but I think for most of the users and most of the time it would be much better to stay locked in whatever state it is set by the user.
I just found out something even worst: the follow playhead disable itself not only in the key editor as explained above, but also even in the project view! Just use the zoom and the follow playhead disable itself. Very uncomfortable. Please change this, its really annoying and I cannot understand why it works like this.
