Fontstack from 4Pockets, the remote access to the selected soundfont folder does not work after upgrading cubasis (3.8.5 / 3.8.6). With version 3.7 everything works fine, but after upgrade to new cubasis version Fontstack does not load the selected soundfont from the remote folder. Instead after opening the cubasis-project again, Fontstack loads any soundfont from the local folder. Does anybody use Fontstack with Cubasis and have the same problem? Thanks + Regards ---

I updated to 3.8.6 recently and noticed that AUv3 folder permissions have been acting a bit strange. Whenever Cubasis pushes a new update, it sometimes messes up the iOS/iPadOS sandbox permissions for “remote” or linked folders in the Files app. Because Fontstack relies on that external folder link to pull the soundfonts, Cubasis 3.8+ seems to be severing that connection when the project closes. When you reopen it, Fontstack panics because it lost the path, and just defaults to a local patch. As a temporary workaround until Steinberg or 4Pockets patches this, I’ve just been manually copying the specific `.sf2` or `.sfz` files I need for my current project directly into Fontstack’s local folder. It’s annoying and clutters up storage, but it stops the project from losing the right sounds when you reload. It might be worth dropping a quick bug report in the 4Pockets Facebook group too—Paul (the developer) is usually very fast at looking into host-specific routing bugs like this! ---

Hi, there is a upgrade for fontstack, but here still the same problem. Would be nice if someone at steinberg could have a look at this problem…. ---
