Font and fontsize of menus

Hi,

I would like to request a feature implementation. The ability to set the font and fontsize for menu items. This involves the main menu but also the context menus etc. As we get older the eyes don’t work that great anymore and a bigger font for those menu items would be very welcome.

Thank you!

A few people asking for this. I have to use 125% scaling to use Cubase, these days.

Which operating system and Cubase version are you on?

I am pretty much for bigger fonts in Cubase, but the menu and context menu are not an issue anymore since C13, at least not on Win11 here, they are way bigger and more legible than on C12 (one of the few improvements of C13).

It could be that it is some setting though that I forgot, maybe the system font size?

Found it, if you increase the font size in Settings→Accessibility to more than 100%, Cubase’s menus and context menus will reflect that.

Thank you for helping me out.

So I am on Windows 10 still with Cubase 15.0.20 but it should be possible to have this option in Cubase itself rather than system wide.

On my PC, this does indeed increase menu and dialogue font size.
But.. (And there’s always a But…)
The font in the Inspectors, &tc, does not change, and on top of that, the window size is increased, such that all of my Workspaces windows disappear off the bottom of the screen. (Although I’m in the process of reworking them to fit the 125% scaling.)
And, on top of all that, E V E R Y T H I N G has bigger fonts, even the programs that already have reasonably sized fonts.
