Fonts suddenly disappeared

I opened dorico yesterday to discover that all of my music fonts have disappeared and all of my music looks like this:

I tried reinstalling Dorico through the installation wizard to no avail and am now wondering whether I need to find the font files individually and download those. Anyone experienced similar problems?

Have you updated to the latest version?

… and rebooted? This can happen if the font cache isn’t refreshed.

I figured it out myself, I’d started my computer (MacOS Ventura) in safe mode to solve an unrelated problem meaning it only loaded default fonts.
