I’ve never heard of Chris Selim so no. As mentioned above, when Material Design came out I think a lot of people had the same idea so it wouldn’t surprise me if a few other people made similar/the same.
Nope, Chris Selim’s palette is different but very good, too ![]()
It has fewer colours and it has a different feel when it comes to color grading.
Here you go.
Material_Design_Color_Palette_48kHz.zip (15.1 KB)
Cheers, I’ll give it a try!
I tried setting all sampling rates supported by the interface, and it worked.
Yes, you are correct upon looking again.
I’ll probably never change until I’m forced to with a Cubase color update.
I have hundreds of coded colors that are connected to words, tracks, and many PLE presets that sometimes create havoc when the colors change.
This is a main page for PLE colors. Just a few developer changes and I’ll spend too much time repairing stuff instead of writing.
Thanks @twelvetwelve , I was able to open the project in Cubase 15 without any problems!
I’ll keep the colour palette, great job ![]()
Thanks! This supports my initial hunch that it’s NOT on Cubase - something is wrong with my setup. I like it better that way than the other way round ![]()
For starters, I have tried to change the sample rate again after opening the new color project - Cubase freezes. I’ll take a closer look at my setup and check for driver updates and the usual suspects. If it wasn’t for the cool new color palette coming with a project at 44.1 kHz I might have never noticed.
Thank you guys again for sharing and checking ![]()
Glad it worked for you.
Yes, I totally understand that you don’t want these colors to change. Ever… I keep my fingers crossed that this palette will work for all future versions as well. I think chances are high that they will ![]()
