Currently, Tom-tom (Low) 4 is not the default note for 0 line.
I want to make Tom-tom (low) 4 default instead of Wood Block (Low) 2.
How can I achieve this? Thank you.
I tried drag it to the front. It didn’t work.
I tried drag it to other line and back. It didn’t work as well.
One can create/rearrange a Drum/Percussion Kit by dragging, adding, or deleting instruments and then export it.
One can then import it when choosing an instrument for a Player.
Or one can create a custom file Template that includes the instrument.

How can I exchange the position of Wood Block (Low) 2 and Tom-tom (Low) 4?
The one at first will be the default one.

Have you noticed the buttons that say move? Choose an instrument and use those arrows.

In the 5-line staff view. The move up and down will move Tom-tom (Low) 4 to line 1 and line -1. But it can’t move it to the front of Wood Block (Low) 2.
In the grid view and Single-line instruments view. I can move Tom-tom (Low) 4 up. But it still doesn’t affact the default note of 5-line staff.
@Janus Here you can checkout the screen recording. I found no way to move it to the front.
In the Edit Percussion Kit dialog for the Drum Set, select Wood Block (Low) 2, click on the third of four icons in the lower left corner of the dialog to Remove Instrument from Kit, and close the dialog. Then right-click on the player holding Drum Set & Wood Block 2 and click on Combine Instruments Into Kit.

@johnkprice Thank you. This way works. Additionally, I have to click the Wood Block 2 to override the notehead to keep the same notehead if I need Wood Block 2 later with correct notehead.
