Well, none of the Notation Options for Note and Rest Grouping will affect anything, obvs.
If you change the barring, or copy and paste your notes to a different beat of the bar, you’ll likely find the result to be ‘wrong’. It’s possible that beaming might be unable to respond to any changes you make, too.
There have been cases of people posting here with problems, or even ‘bugs’, that turned out to be because they’d forgotten that everything was forced.
As said, for some workflows, it may not be a problem. Obviously, it’s a feature that’s there to be used.
I generally find the Dorico philosophy of “global rules, local adjustments” to be well worth following; and on the odd occasions where I have to go back and correct something, I’m still ahead of the game.
