Is there a way I can force the hairpin and the dynamic the end before the barline?
I want to move the hairpin and dynamic from the lower staff to the staff above.
But this is what happens.
How are you moving them? The easiest is probably to select the hairpin and dynamic on the second staff and then Alt/Opt+click on the dotted note on the first staff (actually, in the staff underneath the note, not on the note itself).
This kinda worked. It led me to the solution. Just copy/paste or cmd+D on the note before the one that I wanted, and then just drag the beginning of the hairpin to the desired starting point.
It should work to do it directly.
Interesting. I do the exact same thing, but I don’t get the same result.
