I’m currently making the switch from Finale to Dorico, and I’ve been importing all my templates with the fonts I use. When I select Apple Chancery, it makes everything italic, which isn’t the case in Finale or in my font book. There also isn’t an option to turn it off in the styles box. Is there anyway to fix this?

You’re clearly on a Mac, so fonts styles shouldn’t “fake” italic by slanting the type (as happens on Windows – though recent versions of Dorico prevent fake styles from being used)
Does the font display correctly in, say, TextEdit?
The first things to test would be restarting the Mac, if you haven’t already; and if that doesn’t work, resetting the font cache. (There are various ways to do this: either with a Terminal command and restart, or by booting into Safe Boot mode, and then doing a normal restart.)
The other thing would be to make sure that you haven’t got two copies of the font installed and enabled in Font Book.
