Is there a way to force all underlying Lanes for a single track/event to follow edits?
In the process of splitting, resizing and adding fades to an event edit, I often have to repeat the resizing of all underlying lanes before. An example is when I edit Toms. I split range, then want to move the previous and post events out of the way, then add my fades.
*note - perfect candidate for a macro and keyboard shortcut.
If you Split Audio at the Track level the Split will be applied to all the Lanes below. But if you Split on an individual Lane it will only impact that Lane.
Yes, I am working at the top level, but as I resize, only the active lane responds to resizing, which requires I resize every other lane to get the pre and post events out of the way as I go to apply fades. Messy workflow.
OK, got it. I’m not at Cubase to check, but I wonder if right after initially slicing up the Audio, before any resizing - if you Selected each ‘stack’ of Audio Events, could they then be Grouped?
