A day doesn’t go by when I come to the forum and either images, including the avatars(?) of users, and, not as often, forum fonts don’t load. It takes me several reload attempts before all the images will load. I don’t encounter such issues on other sites and I’ve tried it with my two browser extensions disabled and still have issues. Am I the only one having such issues?

I’m using Firefox, latest edition on Windows 11. I haven’t taken the time to experiment with Edge. (I don’t have chrome installed). It may not be every day, but most days I have issues. This particular time, it was fine.
If it’s any help at all (and I’m sure we appreciate how frustrating it is for you), this is what I see (on 26.4):
So it may be logical to assume that it actually is something on your own system produced by your particular combination of circumstances which is causing the phenomenon. Otherwise - as you ask in your OP - others would probably be getting it too.
Cache? Ad blocker? Extensions not really being removed out of harm’s way. Good luck!
I had the avatars disappearing issue some months ago, also with Firefox, but on MacOS. It solved from itself (I never knew what caused it).
From the comments I’ll assume it’s something on my end. That’s good to know actually. I’m not sure it’s worth the time to track down as I’ve always been able to read the forum but I’ll try a few things. I’ll mark it solved in that your response - thank you - is the most likely cause.
