Forum reader question

Hello,
I don’t know where to post this…
I read this forum on the iPhone.
Since yesterday I have an entry I can’t explain.
I’ll demonstrate with a screenshot:

The top line with the pencil icon appeared, after I had posted a new message. Next to it is another user’s name (which I have cancelled out with red). If I click on that line, I see my message in a different “history” window. Has anybody seen this or can explain, what it means?

That icon typically means that a post has been edited, but I don’t know why you would be seeing a notification about this.

If k_b is the OP of the thread, wouldn’t an edit then be treated as a new post and therefor result in a notification?

It is showing the name of another user next to the pencil.
I had just started a new thread, when this appeared.
My first thought was, that another user might have posted a similar thread under the same title and that the forum software got confused.
I could PM that user, but he will be probably confused as I am.
If I click onto that pencil notification, I get a “History” player, where it looks, as if some other user had started the thread:

from the second window on it shows my name:

It is possible for users with Trust Level 3 and above to edit a thread title. (Not the post itself!) I have done this a few times, when a spelling error or obvious wrong word would make the thread hard to search. But in this case it was not I, since I have not even read that post yet.

Me neither, no words on this title need correction (but maybe there was something before the correction?)
