is there really no search function in this forum?
Or am I missing something?

Welcome, Torsten. There is indeed a search feature in the forum: if you look at the top right-hand corner of each forum page you’ll see the search box. I believe you need to be signed in to see it, but since you are signed in when you post, you should be able to see it OK now.
And there is an even more specific search box beneath the Steinberg logo at the top left of the Dorico page Table of Contents which searches specifically within the Dorico Forum.

the searchbox was not there when I posted this yesterday. Somehow I needed to login again to get it.
