I would like to duplicate a single automation point in the same way you would duplicate a MIDI Event. Just drag while holding the Alt key. And when holding the Command/Control key, have it snap to the same value, just like a MIDI Event would snap to the same track/lane.
You can use the → “Range Selection Tool” for that.
To duplicate a single point? I am aware of the range selection tool, but sometimes I just need to copy an exact value. Some plugins, like FabFilter Volcano 2, doesn’t recognize any value I input into the info line. Therefore duplicating is the only way. Range selection will work but for that to work I have to select a range, duplicate it and then delete the points I don’t need. Just makes sense that you should be able to duplicate an automation point.
ok, I understand you, it´s about a single point, sorry.
I think you must type in the Info Line to have the same values.

Yes, a single point. Or it would be nice to snap the value of the automation point to the previous point by holding a modifier key. Or maybe I should contact FabFilter and tell them about their plugin not working correctly in Cubase.
