I know it doesn’t solve your issue if you really need the score to be at the top of the file list, but you could make sure it’s at the bottom of the list by giving it number 100, so at least it’s not mixed in with the parts.

I think this is a good idea. My one question is, if someone creates multiple layouts in “full score” format, how would we tell Dorico which one is the “conductor” score rather than a working score of some sort. Does that depend on the user only designating one full score to print? For example, what if an orchestral/choral score also used a piano/vocal rehearsal score, both in full score format?
I’d be fine if “Renumber layouts” just renumbered them all sequentially and didn’t duplicate layout numbers as it does presently.
That’s probably a more straightforward option/preference – number scores and parts separately (i.e., current behavior) or together.
